D - Quarry

Upcoming guide and map for Quarry (D) trail

B/D trail head at intersection of Trail Ridge Road

There are multiple ways to reach the start of D (Quarry) Trail.  The picture shows the quickest way to reach a D trail marker.  Just park at the first parking lot south of the oval and walk across Stone Steps Ridge Road to find this maker.

The trail quickly becomes narrow and overgrown in the summer so go single file, and watch for spiderwebs crossing the path (especially if you happen to be the first person through that day).  After a short distance you will reach a T in the trail.  This is technically the B trail in both directions - however, for our purposes take a LEFT and you will immediately reach another D marker. (see picture)






The D trail follows the White Ash Ravine south and west eventually crossing it at a nice little bridge. (see below)
